5TH INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM
ON AZERBAIJANI CARPETS
Traditions and Innovations

17-20 OCTOBER 2017
BAKU, AZERBAIJAN

The 5th International Symposium on Azerbaijani Carpets (ISAC 2017) is an international academic lecture programme organized in partnership with the International Conference on Oriental Carpets (ICOC). It takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan 17-20 October 2017.

The organizers, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and ‘Azerkhalcha’ Joint-Stock Company, will collaborate on a multiple-venue cultural programme during the Symposium. Two special temporary exhibitions will be presented at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art (ANMA) and the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum.

An 8-day HALI Tour in Azerbaijan and Georgia will follow the Symposium, 21-28 October 2017.

In the magnificent setting of Palazzo Grimani, will be held a meeting -and subsequently a guided visit- for the exhibition Mathematics and Design, wich has seen designers challenge themselves trying to approach this two worlds, apparently so distant but that, once combined, can give life to unique works.

Rosenlamp

In preview the first lamp, Rosenlamp, of Ushak Atelier of Wonders.
It is a lamp with 12 lights for light bulbs with G4 5W led, or halogen lamps 12 volt.
It ‘made in Italy sintered polyamide in 3d printing, finished and painted by hand. Is inspired by the turning ornamental ivory eighteenth century kept in Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Available colors: ivory,  ebony, custom colors on request
Dimensions h. 36 cm – diam. 20 cm
It is perfect as a table lamp or bedside lamps.
